‘Hotel Rwanda’s’ Terry George Boards Egyptian Serial Killer Series ‘The Alexandria Killings’

The show, from Yalla Yalla and being co-written by Egyptian scribe Marian Naoum, will tell the true story of serial killer sisters Raya and Sakina, who rose from poverty in 1920s Alexandria to run a major brothel operation, and would be the first women sentenced to death.

Terry George, the Oscar-winning writer-director whose work includes Hotel Rwanda and In the Name of the Father, will turn his creative hand to a real-life tale of death and deceit in early 20th century Egypt.
