Does travelling alone appeal to you?
I do not mind travelling alone as it can be very spiritual and a total self discovery process. It also means you are focused more on the city or area you are travelling to as there is more observing to do and less talking! But nevertheless I also very much enjoy travelling in a group of like-minded individuals.
When was the last time you traveled?
I’ve just unpacked my luggage coming back from Holland—Amsterdam. It was my first trip to Amsterdam and it was very pleasant. I went with my brother, so it was a good bonding process. My favorite artist is Van Gogh, so it was such a treat to visit the Van Gogh Museum. Chocolates and sweets are well known and the locally made ones are not to be missed.
What is your dream destination?
Tokyo, Japan. I am totally enchanted by the culture, technological progress and history.
Name three places in the world that you can’t wait to see.
Vietnam. Kenya. The Amazon forests.
Name three of your favorite places you would love to return to and why.
Italy because you can never get bored of Rome, it is magic and eternal, the food is excellent and Italians are fun, warm people.
Thailand. I love water sports and massages! And they excel in both. I also enjoy Thai food very much and tropical fruits, Thai people are unpredictable and chaotic and there is a certain charm to that.
New York. There is so much to do there. I love Broadway shows. The city has a lot to cover that it is impossible to see everything it has in one or two trips. Also, they say there are enough restaurants in New York such that if you would eat in each one for each meal of the day, you wouldn’t probably be back to those you’ve had a meal at in a life time because there would always be other restaurants to try!!!
Some would immediately hit the pool or the spa or the bar, or the road with their camera. What about you?
If I have access to a motorbike I would rent one and go around the city and discover alleys and more hidden areas. I love engaging with the locals to discover more than what is on the net.
